Vinyl mini blinds are worth the effort of installation because they offer many benefits for your home. They are a very neat and well-kept way of dressing your windows. The mini blinds are not high-maintenance and you need not worry about them all the time.

Installation Guide:

1. Before purchasing the set of vinyl mini blinds, you need to measure the window that you are planning on covering up. The measurements need to be exact because you do not want a set of blinds that don’t completely cover your windows or a set of blinds that will fit on your windowsill.
2. Buy the right kind of window blinds and start the installation process. The package that your vinyl mini blinds came in will have two 1-inch plastic sleeves. Screw or nail the plastic sleeves on the top part of the window with the opening facing in your direction. The sleeves will hold the mini blinds in place. Make sure everything is securely fastened.
3. Place the top part of the mini blinds into the plastic sleeves. Here, you can start sliding the plastic sleeve covers to keep the vinyl mini blinds from moving around. If you don’t use the plastic sleeve covers, chances are, your blinds will keep sliding every which way because it lacks fasteners.

For the installation, you will need a drill and a stepladder. Assuming that your window is a bit high. Very handy people will be able to do this installation by themselves. But if you are not exactly the handiest person in the world, you can ask help from a friend or relative in installing your new vinyl mini blinds. Just remember to have a set of instructions handy with you at all times during the installation.
